Welcome to our website! My name is Michael Rashev. I am a scientific programmer. I am trained in experimental particle physics and data engineering. I model the detection of elementary particles in space, program data chains, and support the computing infrastructure. One of my current tasks is to deliver scientific data from an instrument on board a European Space Agency mission.

Based on my experience in several scientific laboratories and companies in Europe and USA, I can offer the following services:

- development of scientific instruments for space research using Geant4 and Simion

- build/support data acquisition/processing/storage

- server management(system administration)

In my current work I use skills in:

bash tools, Python, C/C++, Fortran, IDL, Matlab

databases: MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB

I have also set up and maintain a computing infrastructure to perform scientific tasks.

Software: IDL license, Python, Fortran, Mongo database, Big Data tools.
